Class A Office Building and Upscale Hotel Add to Vibrant Atmosphere
THE WOODLANDS, TX (May 7, 2015) – Executives from The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, The Woodlands® Development Company, along with community leaders celebrated a Topping Out today for both Three Hughes Landing and the Embassy Suites The Woodlands/Hughes Landing. The two properties represent the newest additions to Hughes Landing® in The Woodlands, a 66-acre mixed-use development offering spectacular views of 200-acre Lake Woodlands.
The top beams for both Three Hughes Landing and the Embassy Suites were lifted simultaneously to signify the last beam being placed upon each building. Three Hughes Landing is a 12-story, 321,000- square-foot Class A office building, designed to be LEED Silver Certified. The new nine-story, 205-key Embassy Suites is an all-suite, full-service hotel for both business and leisure travelers.

Hughes Landing also includes Whole Foods Market®, Starbucks®, Kriser’s Natural Pet store, Pier 1 Imports® as well as Restaurant Row featuring Local Pour gastropub with nightly entertainment and openings scheduled soon for Escalante’s Fine Tex-Mex and Tequila, Del Frisco’s Grille, California Pizza Kitchen and more. Truluck’s, a seafood, steak and crab house, is expected to open in the fall of 2015.
The first multifamily development in Hughes Landing, One Lakes Edge, features 390 luxury residences with leasing underway. One Hughes Landing, a 197,719-square-foot, eight-story, Class A office building, opened September 2013, less than ten months after construction began and is now 100% occupied. Two Hughes Landing, a 197,714-square-foot, eight-story, Class A office building, opened in May 2014 and is almost fully leased. Like Three Hughes Landing, both One Hughes Landing and Two Hughes Landing are designed to be LEED Silver Certified.
